Motorcycle / yacht 2 speakers + amplifier + radio pkg Review
These things freaking rock - literally! They get as loud as you want. My hint: crank the amplifier's volume all the way up and use the mp3 player's volume control to fine-tune it. Works perfectly. Others have said the amp gets hot: I can vouch for that. It does. Just give it room to breath or be ready to keep a light touch on it when turning off. This thing basically never drains your battery. I have left it on for a couple days and had *NO* issues with starting. I mounted these behind my windshield (as others have done) and I only had to use some thread-lock to keep them on.
As far as being waterproof: I can also vouch for that! My neighbor and I rode through a freaking thunderstorm across the entire state of Kentucky and I had these things rocking the whole time! I would have lost my mind if it wasn't for the stereo keeping my mind off the fact that I was soaked...
He was blown away when we'd stop for gas and I still had my speakers blaring.

shark 250 watt is Junk - John B - CT
I bought the 250watt shark and it isn't worth .00.It cant be 250 watt Because the speakers are ONLY rated for 8 watts each.Don't waste your money. I bought a Milennia MILMPK5 MR50 AM/FM/MP3/USB/SD Stereo for .00 and its 120 watt rms.and i have a pair of Polk 5 1/4 inch waterproof speakers, I mounted the speakers into 6 inch spotlight housings. This MR50 sounds good,picks up all the stations and the depth is ONLY 4" inches.
Don't waste your money on any of those shark radio's. and my pipes aren't that loud.

I purchased this item for my husbands 2003 883 Harley Sportster. The unit is great, sound is great. The only problem is there is not enough room on the Sportster to put both speakers.
I highly recommnend reading the directions as turning the unit on and off is not intuitive.

they work as well as i expected the only thing i found bad is the speaker mounts but that has been said in other reviews when the speakers get wet they hold water as i found out when i turned it on the next day and got a spray of water until they dryed out what a suprise

Got these for my golf cart because of the wx proof speakers and wx resistant radio. Worked great right out of the box with all the hardware needed. FM tuner is surprisingly efficient and picks up a lot of stations. Scan didn't pick up a lot, but, the manual tuning did.
A real compact arrangement. Has a lighted, digital display. The quality of the sound lacks ,but, has all the volume you'll need. Not being able to change the radio stations with the provided remote control is another draw back.
All considered, I'm pleased with the unit.
